Mark Klein has been performing in front of live audiences since he could barely walk.  This musical prodigy can be seen performing just about every weekend as one of the lead vocalists of the Louisiana Supergroup-The Fabulous Boogie Kings. 

Mark has always loved the stage, and for that reason, at the age of 8 he was a regular on the Texas Opry Circuit performing with live bands across the states of Texas and Louisiana.  While country music was not really his main genre, Mark noticed that the audiences were asking him to perform more Blues, high energy songs from the 50’s, Elvis, blue eyed soul and even some Swamp Pop!  The crowds went crazy at his performances and he was featured at countless oprys across Texas and Louisiana.  It was then his loves of the Blues was born.  

  He has performed venues on Carnival Cruise Lines, Pigeon Forge, Tn., and Branson, Mo.   He was named American Kids Entertainer of the Year in 2004 in Branson, as well as Louisiana Kids Entertainer of the Year in the same year.

  He has sat in with many Louisiana legends including Don Rich, Kenny Acosta, Aaron Foret, The Treater Band, Skeeter Thomasie, The Topcats, The Wiseguys, and The Chee Weez.  He was the last one to open for Louisiana great Joe Barry before his passing. 

   It wasn’t till Ned Theall asked him to sit in with The Fabulous Boogie Kings that he finally felt at home with his art.  Realizing that he was being exposed to some of the best performers in the business, he wasted no time studying their showmanship, watching them perform like a hawk and soaking in their wisdom and advice from decades of experience in the industry.  This early exposure to great artists like Jerry Lacroix, GG Shinn, Parker James, Duane Yates, Bert Miller, Gregg Martinez and Allen Wayne combined with his incredible musical ability has given him a maturity that well exceeds his years.  Mark, at the tender age of 12 years is now one of the lead vocalists of the Louisiana Supergroup- The Fabulous Boogie Kings.
